Since the beginning of this year, and inspired by Andrew Jones' work from the Revelations Workshop in Seattle, i've been trying to figure out how to paint portraits in photoshop. I attempted to do a portrait a week but after a couple of failed attempts i decided i wanted to take more time (3 weeks) to sit down and really try to figure out what happens with colours and flesh.
This is my latest attempt at it. I got some really good help/ feedback by some friends to think about when i'm painting, i hope i don't just forget, haha.
We have a group we paint 1 portrait a week and we try to keep eachother up to date, but i decided to take my time with this one. I'll try to keep working the same way and posting some work here.

buenaso tus ejercicios. Estás viendote a un espejo en esta? o estabas usando referencia?
En esta tengo la camara de mi pc apuntada a un espejo que situe a mi izquierda, asi que tenia mi imagen a un lado de la pantalla. En esencia es un 'espejo'. =P

Esta bueno tus trabajos 3d y los retratos van mejorando. Esa idea de la camara con el espejo es muy buena. Saludos
Jaja verdad... oye que bacanes tus cosas! Yo por eso me quedo con la fotografía (principalmente). Y sí, me falta aprender un culo pero en esas estoy. Suerte!
